Radio 1 - Live Lounge Volume 2!

Wicked album, if you listen to Radio 1 you should know 'bout it.

Jo Whiley does the live lounge in which she gets artist to come in, sing A song they are trying to promote (theyre song) and one cover, its well known for starting off Amy Winehouse's version of Valerie!

Well the 1st volume of the live lounge was released just over a year ago, and the 2nd volume is twice as good!

My favorite tracks have to be :

The Pigeon Detectives - Girlfriend (Originally by Avril Lavigne)
30 Seconds to Mars - Stronger (Originally by Daft Punk/ Kanye West)
Arctic Monkeys - You know im no good (originally by Amy Winehouse)
KT Tunstall - The Prayer (originally by Bloc party)

And the list could go on!

Regular listeners to Jo Whileys show should know that she usually says..

"Goosebumps" after nearly every performance, although lately its been

"...wow"
And this album is just that, I really reccomend everyone gets this, EVEN if you dont listen to the show, its a laugh of an album, and even brings a tear to your eye (The Streets - Never went to church)

Yeah. That's how it was promoted. It was on Versions - Mark Ronson and I must admit from when I got it a few months back it was one of my favourite tracks on the album. Then it got played on music channels/radio and gets requested more & more often so therefore gets more plays, meaning it now doesn't need to be promoted!!
