Fair play to him, must've took some guts going out to manage the team knowing he had already resigned. He looked like as if he had tears in his eyes towards the end when the Spurs fans starting singing his name.

EDIT; I think I would have walked too if I was him, especially after the way that bald-headed **** Levy has been treating him.

I know Tottenham have had a bad start to the season but I think he should have stayed there. If it was for him Tottenham wouldn't be where they are now. He's brought in some good players and guided them into the UEFA Cup. Tottenham weren't that good before he went there.

What are they going to do 'til the end of the season if Ramos isn't coming in 'til the start of next season?

Heard two rumours about Jol tonight..

One being that Southgate will get the boot at Boro tomorrow to make way for Jol.

And the other that Jol is going to take up the vacant post at Ajax.

Spurs have a good set of players, they good be an awesome team if the right guy comes in.

All the best for the future for Jol though, He's a good manager.

The statement on the Spurs website is saying that the Tottenham board had asked both Jol and his assistant to resign with immediate effect. I know resigning would save you the humility of being sacked, but he should have said no and then he would have got a huge payment as compensation if he had got sacked.

If you're going to ask someone to resign you don't tell the World you asked them to... I really don't like Daniel Levy.

i dont think he deserved to get sacked so early
i reckon he could of turned around but thats the problem with the big leagues now you hardly get any time to make things change, rumoured to be ramos and his record with seville is v good.

Don't see why they have sacked him. 5th in both of his seasons with them, Spurs have never done that well before.
He makes one bad start to a season and they don't like it. Wrong decision in my opinion.

Sad to see him leave, as a manager he lost his confidence. I would do too if my bosses were speaking to another manager behind my back.

Ramos should be Spurs manager pretty soon.. he has just resigned from Sevilla.
