god damned. I hate this now. Children go missing all over the world everyday and I don't see them all over the bloody news. So, the parents left her one night and she got abducted. really, if they wanted a night to themselves they should have put her in a kiddies club thing or hired a nanny. I'm sure the hotel/apartment operator would have been happy to get a nanny.

It's a natural instinct for a parent to protect their child so she would certainly have done something other than stand there.

I mean I understand they want to find their daughter as much as anyone else would but I mean what good is it doing pleading in England? It's like this.. to put an analogy.. I lost my dad three years back.. but imagine if he'd had gone in a coma, and raising awareness about it and getting money to help for treatment would make him better again, would i do it?

You can't ask a them to dismiss their life of madeline.. it's their daughter, it's like telling someone to give up an arm.. although I agree some aspects of the whole madline mccann case seem a bit peculiar, you have to remember that a few things they can't tell us due to privacy/keeping secrets from the media so the police can continue their investigation unhindered..

Just think people need to step back out of the box and view it from a multi-angeled view

True, When se went missing she was all over the news. But when that ben guy went missing the only advertisement he was on was on a ******* milk carton. in my opinion i think she's dead, What kind of person will kidnapp someone and take them for there own child?? exactly. I agree.. though maddie being kidnapped/killed is absolutely awful, tons of children every hour are dying of starvation and dehydration... all the money poured into finding one girl could've been poured into helping those children in africa/other third world countries.

I am bored of this Madeleine McCann business. Yes if she is miraculously alive and they find, then it maybe worth reading about where she was and I may also be interested to know she has been found dead aswell, because lets face, it's been wiped in our faces and we may aswell know what happened to her. But I don't care at the moment about aload of conspiracy theories with no hard evidence.

I admire the parents of Madeleine for keeping the case in the public eye for so long. Do you know how many thousands of kids are abducted in the world each year? How many do we hear about, not just in a single news bulletin, but for over six months? Still, I think things are starting to slip. Unfortunately, I don't believe she's alive anymore. But I think if the parents have any hope of her returning safetly, they have to keep campaigning.

Hes true, its been going on longer then 200 days now, everyday of those 200 days it'd be on news or the newspapers.
We don't want to know the rumours, only the god dam truth. I don't think there ever going to find her unless a miracle happens and I don't think one will. Yes, if it was my child I'd be devistated but there hardly emotional, that's why I think its something to do with the parents. :(

She has most likely been raped by the paedophile who took her (This is a guess but who else takes a little girl)
She HAS been killed.

I don't see why there searching in morroco and stuff, if shes still alive, she'll be in the algarves. Shes not going to be able to get out to somewhere like morocco if shes like the headline of the news. The parents wouldn't of killed her either, seeing the newspapers were all over them after the incident and the bllod was there like 5 weeks after it happened.

One of the main reasons why it had dragged on for so long is because the parents and thier supporters have made a huge effort to keep the campaign going. There are more child abductions and murders than the general public gets to hear about, because these things often don't come to the media attention unless someone goes to them.
The McCanns have kept the media following thier progress to keep awarness of the situation, and hopefully produce more evidence regarding the case.
