welllll, tonight I met this guy, he's really nice and all.


one of my good friends has a problem with it though - she's "with" (as in idk, cuddling, kissing etc, not in an actual relationship) a lot of guys, she's done this with this guy, and she has a problem with me hanging out with him, I find this really selfish - because she's like this with every guy who I hang out with - it's slightly irritating.
so this is obviously no exception - she has a huge problem with it, i'm kind of sick of it.

anyway, this guy likes me too, he's texting me etc, idk what to do
if I text back, hang out with him, and go to a party he invited me to tomorrow it's likely that she'll not like this - and probably argue with me.
If I ignore him, it's likely that me and my friends relationship will carry on like it was, reasonbly well. But I don't really want to ignore him..

so what do I do?
if that made any sense

i'm just kind of sick of her acting like every guy is exclusive to her, and therefore I have no business hanging around with them..

From what i read, she sounds like a bit of a get around. Do you really feel it best to "hang out with her" if she's like that. The guy sounds like he genuinly like you, and what's her right to stop you? If they were going out now i would understand, but they're not? Do what you feel is right.

If you just let it go because you don't wanna argue with her then fair enough, but she'll get use to walking all over you. Maybe you should just tell her how you feel? She should understand and if she doesn't she isn't a real friend and you should get rid of her as soon as possible!

To be honest she can't be much of a friend if she thinks just because shes been around you can't go with anyone whos previously seen her.

If she still likes him or had feelings for him it would maybe be understandable but you two guys have feelings for each other, so why should this girls own selfish and bitterness stand in the way of it?

I think you should maybe send your friend a text or something before you continue seeing him. Just explain to her that you don't want any conflict or tension in your friendship but you do intend to continue seeing him as you both are attracted to each other. Explain that you apologise if she is in some way upset but you hope she isn't willing to let a boy break up your friendship.

If she is stubborn and continues to be so selfish - then you really are better off without her. Just because she gives it out a lot doesn't mean she the guys are her property or something.
