Seen you're board released a statement saying that they're backing Bond for the 'foreseeable future'. So basically he will be sacked in about 2 games time if he doesn't pick up the results ;).

We need to win today if we are going to be realistic about going for promotion. If we win, we go top of the league, albeit for only 24hours maybe :D. Tough run of fixtures coming up for us though.. Sarfend today, Leeds next week, Luton away and then Forest at home.

I support afc bournemouth. Played walsall drew 1-1 and i have never seen a worse league 1 club (walsall) they were terrible. we were terrible. everything about this club is terrible. Telfer can waddle back off to celtic he is awful. bradbury can waddle back off to southend he missed 3 easy goals. And bond can **** off out of this club. we got leeds soon and were going to get ripped apart

On a lighter note wasnt martin jol and his second man at the southend carlisle game today?

Thought you would have went on and beat them after you went 1-0 up after 20min.

Things can only get better now though, surely?

Don't be too down-heartened yet Carl, Gillingham gave Leeds a tough game I think and they're in dire straights like you.

And yeah he was, don't know why like :S. Maybe to see some better football than he did at White Hart Lane :P

We're not much better than you. Beginning of the season we thought we had the best squad for ages and now we're languishing in 17th - 3 points off relegation and we don't play next week. Dave Jones needs to go. He plays the same team week in week out. He doesn't have the guts to do anything - he won't gamble and go for the win. Capaldi is crap, McPhail is awful, Fowler can't run, Hasselbaink is good at times, Rae does random runs and the goalie - well I feel sorry for him, with the defence we have what can the goalie do?

Ledley is the only player in that team who plays with a heart. McPhail needs to be dropped along with Capaldi. Ledley should be moved into centre midfield, every game he plays there he plays awesome. Gunter should play instead of Capaldi. Thompson should play instead of Fowler. We've got no-one on the bench who can change a game.

I never thought I'd be saying this but League one here we come

Some Southend fans on TFF reckon that Tilson is off to Norwich, and Jol and his assistant are going to be taking charge of Southend.. :D
