360 is like £250 in Gamestation and the Wii is £180 anywhere.

Depends what you're in to. Like online shooting games and stuff like Halo, then get a 360. Like huge adventure games like Zelda: Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy, get a Wii. Both console are equally as good.

You will basically only get biased replies here, so my advice would be to decide yourself. ;) Or just get both.

Enjoy whatever console you get and have a nice christmas. :)

ofc, i havent seen a game where u have to stand up, even wii sports i dont stand up haha xD Its really easy, most games dont use the axis feature loads, like some might just be shaking it a bit, nothing big.

Although you need wireless internet or a nintendo wifi USB.

Personally, i would get the 360, i have both and i am bored of my Wii, as your birthday is in 26 days you are best off gtting a 360, save up and get a Wii in 2008 when a lot more decent games come out.

Mario Galaxy is out on November 16th and Metroid prime 3 is already out, I think thats enough to satisfy the needs of any gamer until Brawl comes out in the first quater of 2008

I don't think it is 7.50?
Just go on shopping channel and download the internet channel, which is free, and hey presto, you can browse the web! You need a wireless connection though. Or a wired one.


I have both consoles: you can't compare the two or choose one over the other.

Next Gen gaming sucks I think. Wii is the best console i've played on in a while, and you can play Gamecube games on it so it's not always standing.

360 and PS3 are good if your into games big time, and enjoy graphics and enhanced versions of games. Of course this is a bias opinion as I personally dislike all new games.

No, actually your just saying that because you only care about graphics, and the Wii doesnt have the greatest graphics out of the three consoles.

I personally have a 360 and a wii

360 - Good graphics, the graphics on the 360 are excellent, matched only by the ps3. theres the xbox live arcade - where you can get games like: pacman, alien hominid, tetris ect, theres also such a wide vareity of games, including xbox only games like Halo3 and many of the games coming out on ps3 are also coming out for the 360 aswel.

wii - The wii has decent graphics.. typical nintendo graphics - cartooney style. many games are out for that, some are shooting (red steel) and some are fun games where everyone can join in eg: tetris. The wii consists of mainly "childish" games, whereas the xbox targets older people with their graphics and gameplay, wii also has the mario series and all the retro games downloadable from their database which consists of, old mario, zelda ect

overall i think if your a hardcore gamer who likes a bit of fun and a challenge of skill - go for the 360, the wii on the other hand.. if you like cartoon style games and would prefer to have the whole family playing without the need to remove small children from the game - go with the wii

Summary for 360 - Hardcore gamer, good graphics, more "grown up" games
Summary for Wii - Child?, Family, and the main aspect F U N!

But its totally your choice ;)
