Whats the point in having the 15 second time limit between searches? its rly annoying..

Its to stop bots / spammers taking the server down. If you constantly searched without a limit and all 150 people did that (or a bot did it), the server would die.

Search thing goes weird for me on the first time, then i have to research it :rolleyes:

15 seconds is not a long wait at all. You could easily switch to an msn convo or read a thread whilst waiting ;).

Some sites and forums have the search limit way over 15 seconds I've seen it ranging from 30 seconds to 1½ minutes which does get abit irritating when your trying to search for something. With that been said, If someone wanted to take the server down by putting it under alot of pressure there are other ways of doing it.

No, 15 seconds is fine. Its been like that for years and this is first time I see someone mention it. Plus if we drop it to 7 seconds, the next person will say drop it to 5, the next will say to 2 etc, its never ending ;).

I have seen many forums have it at 30 seconds.
