Today we're performing some planned maintenance to our core network. During this work, various systems and parts of the website may be unavailable for short periods.

They did this when they were releasing new skills, updating parts of the game engine and the game itself to get it prepared for the new stat; Summoning

Could this be the prep. work for Summoning? we will soon find out :P

i didnt say it WAS the skill theyre putting in :P just the preparation. Game engine tweakings, etc.

That would be great, if they released Summoning on Halloween it would be good as I think Summoning would tie in perfectly with Halloween.

Summoning would be a fun pvp skill though.. bring out an army of zombies to help pummle your enemy.

Noooo it'l just make ma stat screen even more crampacked than before.

I'm fairly certain they only do these to try remove any bugs, let the servers cool down a bit to try and reduce lag and make loading times faster, they don't need to do this everytime they add a skill, all they do is replace certain files reload the servers and boom it's there

why? so what skill do you think it will be. i think it;s time we get animals we can ride to get to places faster. so like animal taiming skill at lvl 99 you can ride dragons :P

friendserver was down for 2hrs earlier at 10am (uk) clan chat followed after, then the news system went down? :S and the knowledge base followed shortly after.

neil, you have a point, but theres a chance it can also mean adding a new stat

Summoning would be excellent if they released on halloween!

Jamie has good proof, they wouldnt shut down most of those unless theyre updating part of the game that are related to something else, ex. a new stat ;)

overall, the black square with your total is annoying, itd be cool if it was just a whole page of stats :P

Hmm, summoning scrapped? i seriously doubt that, because I've seen the new stat screen in the german knowledge base and i have seen the summoning stat button so i dont think its any other skill.

Summoning was released just not as a skill, I think they're gonna stick with that instead of releasing an actual skill for it, it would be pointless because they'd restrict the hell out of it

Right let me explain :)

There servers are on for thousands of hours at a time without reboot.. and think if your computer was on that long? Bad = Yes so they need some time to turn them off run checks e.c.t even let them cool down.

EDIT: i thought u meant what he said on page 1 soz.
