How do I do this

Wasent sure where to put this. Its for Photoshop CS3 please.

1) Design a stripe (black & white) on a new document.
2) Edit->Define pattern.
3) On the original document make a layer, go to Layer Properties. Set the pattern as the stripe and set the colour overlay as whatever colour you like and then lower the opacity.

:) Agree'd with invent, proberly the easiest way then just set a bg colour in the layer and player with the opacity.

Thanks I followed that BUT how do I design a stripe LOL

make a 3 x 3px document then use a line tool or a pen tool then make a stripe that would be used for a 1px stripe just change the dimensions about ;)

draw a line on paint

Make sure it has a transparent bg in the tiny image O.o so no dont do it in paint as you cant set it as a patern.
