People going out drinking on Friday nights, underage?

I just read someone's thread and thought :O This could be good!

Well, I'm ok for it HOWEVER. Not if they're anti-social and get into fights etc.. and aslong as they take their rubbish with them

I don't do it myself but another thing that annoys me is when people come up to you at school "y0 mert. gotz ten peez pls i wnt sum pizza" "uh, no.. not for you ;)" then they walk off.. it's obv. they're going to buy cigarettes ANDDDDDDDDDDDD. there's this kid at my school, in my year (10) and he goes round asking for money for the Friday night fun fund.. it's where everyone goes out drinking and they use other peoples money to buy the drink.. :eusa_wall

I'm so glad I don't go out on Friday nights, I have a job.. that job's not out drinking on the streets :$

It's fine, it's their decision to. I sometimes do it, not often though maybe monthly. As long as people don't start getting in fights and stuff it's alright.

I work Friday nights but often go out when I finish, at 9 (which is when the parties really get started anyway!). Friday night is one of the traditional party nights, and I see no problem with people going out to get drunk, be it over or under age. Providing people are sensible and don't go too far, there is no reason why they shouldn't have fun :).

I'm completely against it, to go out for the purpose of getting drunk is irresponsible and there are far safer ways of having fun. Going out to a pub/club/ w/e and having a drink is tolerable because thats what a bar is there for, but people who go to those bars for the express reason of getting drunk are out of order imo. No matter how "hard" you think you are or how much you think you can take, alcohol will always have a negative affect on you and chances are something bad will happen.

I think it is fine, I used to do and it didn't cause anyone any harm.
Now I drink in friends houses or in clubs etc.

I blame the people who run the countrys/towns etc, they don't give anything for kids to do, so it ends up with them having to drink.
Such as youth clubs, the two youth clubs that i have visited in the past are terrible, a snooker table and a table tennis table and a TV, which is ment to be shared between like 30 or more kids at one time? I don't think so.

If they are drinking and causing problems then fair enough I am against that, but not when they do nothing wrong.
Twice a year like every teenager in the town goes to ceartin events and gets hammered, last time the police decided to try and stop it, it caused every1 to move onto the street and get wound up and then houses and cars got damaged.

Your missing out if you aint had a scatty rek up on a friday night when you were younger!!

I'm not 18 yet but I've been going out most weekends to clubs/pubs since I was 15/16, but I never get to the point where I can't stand or get into fights.
I hate aggression and violence and hate people who ruin other people's lifes because of drinking.
So no I don't mind about underage drinking aslong as the person doing it is sensible.
And anyway..anyone, any age can cause trouble, not just underagers.

I used to go out on Friday nights last year, but then it just stopped. I think it's because this year most people are having parties- since this is the year we turn 16 (my school year that is)!

I used to get alcohol for me and a few of my friends from my brother, and take it out in to the woods where we used to go. It'd range how many people would go... from at least 15, up to about 40 on a couple of occasions!

The group just began to grow, and grow- until people we don't even know began to come; then it sorta got scary and all you used to think was "oh god. are they gna start?" ... Luckily, they didn't... but i guess that's another reason we stopped.

I suppose it's the people's choice. You're not forced to go out and do it; if you want, you can! I suppose people like the excitement of forgetting everything for a night; for having fun with their friends; and just being a different person for a night, really.

My Friday nights were fun!

Oh, apart from the time I got very drunked.
I went the pizza shop, was sick in there; I forgot to pay for my chips.
And when I got home and went to bed, I puked in my sleep 3 times!
(Yeah. Yeah.. dangerous, I know.)
But yeah.
I woke up in the morning like... EWWWWWW! WT*?!!!
:P

I usually drink round my house with mates or at one of theirs before going out and then take a few more out with me when it gets a bit later. I've gotten into a few scraps on friday nights (quite enjoyable, I like violence & the adrenaline rush) & they've all "deserved" it so don't go saying "I've ruined someone's night" because if I get into a scrap then so be it.

around ere, there is alot of people that tend to get into fights on friday nights, as they go onto each others little town, wtever..

but i jus go out on a friday night, maybe have a couple of drinks & jus have fun.
although some of the kids that i kno that go out and get in fights, tend to try & not too, as they just want to have fun aswell..

thats why they have started gettin more police around.
only bad thing about that - if you get caught with the booze - your done for. lol.

I think it's their choice but I don't think it's right. Drinking is not something you need to do, especially at that age. You can wait. Is it really that important? I don't even see why people drink.

Going out on a Friday night is always fun for people old enough to actually be out past a certain time.

A lot of the issues in my area arise from Children under the age of 18 being able to get hold of Alcohol on Fridays and Saturdays.
Unfortunately it usually ends up with me radioing for an Ambulance or for Police assistance as they end passing out on the floor.

I do not mind people going out and having a good time however the definition of a good time is not how many bottles of Bacardi you rammed down your throat or how much beer you've managed to have or how hung over you are the next day.

Personally when I go out to the club it's for a laugh and a good time... a small bit of beer but not a lot... y'know? enough to actually remember how I ended up at the bottom of someone's garden.

If you simply MUST go out and get completely smashed... please do not waste the Authority's time by urinating on a chair.

Urgh.

Anyone under 18 should go back to drinking Cherryade! leave the Adult Drinks to the Adults kiddies!

What's with the random capital letters here and there? If you're going to make it look like you type properly, at least do so. As for under 18s drinking cherryade... fair enough it's a view you have, but I'm sure when you were younger you enjoyed a drink - it's not something that suddenly happens on your 18th birthday. You seem to think that being older means you can handle it better, which is a gross generalisation and entirely wrong.
From how you talk it appears that you're possibly some guy who's just finished training or is one of those fun "community officers" or something, and now believes himself above and beyond everyone else. Bless.

Don't care. Most teenagers drink to get drunk, not because they enjoy what they're drinking. I'm not concerned for other people's health or wellbeing so it's not something that bothers me.

I drink underage, in bars etc on friday and other nights. I'm not a **** head though, I don't start fighting or whatever.

If they don't cause problems and aren't really loud then it's fine by me.

friday night fun fund?

well sometimes kids cant ask their parents for money cos they have financial problems, so sometimes asking friends to help is okay, but i dont think every friday would be acceptable.

but yeah its pretty much like that all over

edit: sorry i didnt answer your q lol
i think its up to them what they do on a friday night =]

well im 16 and have been going out drinking with my mates since i was 13 none of us are anti-social and we dont get smashed. it's just a laugh. Under-age children shouldnt drink often because it could ruin there body while its developing. But now and again doesn't hurt anyone.
