How odd, people are never really predicted A*s as the way they're granted is different--it's not usually by getting a high mark. The only person I knew to be predicted one was this guy in my History class, he didn't get it though.

It was the same in my school x). I got most of my predicted grades for my AS Levels today though, all A. However they are based on my GCSE results and as I said in the last thread, they mean nothing :$

I was predicted As in a lot of subjects and a couple A*s, ** and Cs. I got 3A and 9 ** in total :(!

I know everyone says this, and you won't listen anyway, BUT WORK A LOT! I DIDN'T AND IT SHOWED. Predicted A* in History - I got a B :(.

Im an A in everythin, shouldn't be thought, my german is like D standard and rnglish is B/C. Most other subjects around A/B though. Our was all based on some crappy computer test we had at the start of the year which was like which words have the most to do with eachother and the 3x table and stuff, its stupid.

GCSE predictions and what you actually get are 2 different things! Just because they predict you to get something doesn't mean you will. I was predicted lower than what I actually got in most subjects. Enjoy showing off your predictions though!

So why post what you're predicted when you could just wait & post what you actually get? Because by trying to show off predictions when it comes to the actual results and you get worse you'll look like a bit of an idiot who tried showing off! Hell I suppose you could just lie, I wouldn't put it past half of the members.

i don't know any others. i don't actually care for predictions, but i'd like them to be lower so as it's possible to exceed them with ease.
for those of you with a*s the whole way through, you're probably lying or just showing off. it's a shame if they're real though, seeming as if you get, for instance, a B in something, you're gutted!

A* in everything- seems a little farfetched but hey, i can't prove you lying. Thats a big goal to achieve, and not doing so may look like failure, which is what i believe the school seem to be setting you up for. You can have whatever predicted grades you want, but its the actual grades that count, and don't forget that.
