Seeing as its Halloween. I thought i'd give you people a heads up with whats on television.
I'll start off with a good classic. 'Halloween' Which is on tonight on BBC1 at 11:25pm. For the people who dont know what its about here is a little bit of information about the storyline.
Halloween Storyline: A group of unsuspecting teenage girls are stalked by an escaped mental patient who murdered his sister on Halloween when he was only six years old. He has returned to his hometown to repeat his crime, pursued only by his psychiatrist, who believes that his patient is the manifestation of pure evil.
The film is almost 30 years old, but still has the power to drag you to the edge of your seat and make you jump right off it. Thats for you late nighters..
Next, Most Haunted Live Halloween Special will be on tonight at 9pm on the channel 'Living' Am guessing alot of people know what it is but again, here is a little bit of information.
Fictional Ghosts are all well and good, but for those who want real bumps in the night, Most Haunted Live are doing their best to stir up some spirits live on TV. Led by Yvette Fielding and psyhic David Wells, the team are broadcasting from five secret locations that trace a huge inverted pentagon (a symbol of witchcraft) across the UK, with the studio audience right int he middle. It's being billed as the scariest and most chocking Most Haunted yet, so make sure you watch it with the light on...
Sorry if their is spelling mistakes i wrote that paragraph myself, lol. Okay.. next.
Next is Real Vampires which is on 9pm on the Discovery Channel. god i got to type the info out again, lol. Here is some information on it.
The lengthy documentary shines a light on every aspect of the vampire legend, from the early origins to present-day blood drinkers and those who hunt them. Led by Dr Timothy Taylor, who is almost as creepy as the bloodsuckers he seeks, this is an imprsessive mission, stopping off in South America, New York and of course Transylvania. The costumed scenes are alot of fun, buts it's the recent vampire murder cases that will have you reaching for the garlic.
So their is abit of information on that, next is a real good one.
The Omen. 10:30pm on The Biography Channel. A real classic and here is another peice of information.
The Omen Information: Gregory Peck is the ambassador to the United States who's wife has a stillborn child. Without her knowledge, he substitutes another baby as theirs. A few years go by, and then grisly deaths begin to happen. The child's nanny hangs herself and a priest is speared to death in a freak accident. It turns out the child is the son of Satan and can only be killed with the seven daggers of Meggado.
Okay we got Halloween H20 on Sky Movies Sci Fi/Horror. At 9pm. This is continuing on from the earlier Halloween i mentioned up above. H20 Meaning 20 years later. Again some information
Halloween H20 Information: On Halloween in 1963, Michael Myers murdered his sister, Judith. In 1978, he broke out to kill his other sister, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). He killed all of her friends, but she escaped. A few years later, she faked her death so he couldn't find her. But now, in 1998, Michael has returned and found all the papers he needs to find her. He tracks her down to a private school where she has gone under a new name with her son, John (Josh Hartnett). And now, Laurie must do what she should have done a long time ago and finally decided to hunt down the evil one last time
And finally the last film i will be informing you on is Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. This film is the next in the sequence to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and still packs all the frights. This will be aired on Sky Movies Sci Fi/ Horror at 10:30pm Straight after Halloween H20. Little bit of information on it.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Begging Information/Storyline: In August, 1939, a worker has an abortion while working in a slaughterhouse and dies. The deformed baby is dumped in a garbage container and found by a beggar later, who brings him home. Along the years, the freak creature called Thomas is raised by the Hewitt family in spite of having psychological problems, working in a meat plant. In July, 1969, when the facility is closed, the inhabitants move to other places, but the deformed insane Thomas kills the foreman. His deranged stepfather executes the sheriff that is going to arrest Thomas, and assumes his identity, wearing his clothes, driving his car though the roads in Texas and entitling himself as Sheriff Hoyt. Meanwhile, the brothers Eric and Dean are traveling in a Jeep with their girlfriends Christie and Bailey, Eric to serve in Vietnam and Dean escaping to Mexico. When the group has a car accident, Hoyt arrests Eric, Dean and Bailey and brings them to his house. Christie follows them trying to rescue the trio, trapped in the house of sadistic and insane cannibals, in a trip of horror and gore.
