You probably just want to work there for free food? Everyone I know thats worked at McDonalds says its hell. And they actually tell you the horror stories of what they do to the food (some of them). It's also lowly paid, just the minimum wage. You don't want to work there.

I know in Australia, they give you a meal + drink if you work during a lunch shift. But apart from that, they're pretty stingy.

(and no, I don't work [nor will I ever] at McDonalds. I read their employee handbook!)

I know someone who works there, he worked there for a year and the supervisor job was given to some Somalian who'd only worked there for 2 months lol.
My friend also works there and he hates it, but he's too lazy to get another job, you get a free breakfast, lunch and dinner. He works 16:00-12:00... how sad is that, why is he my friend.

do you get free food?

Yeah. - if it's about to be thrown away.

Plus the pay depends on how many hours you work and what status you are.

My friend used to work in mcdonalds, he told me it was ok decent pay.
Towards the free food it depends if you work in a acutal owned resturant not a franchise, my friend worked in a one acutally owned by mcdonalds and his lunch was free. Also they get like 15% of apple products or was it 5%? and aload of other stuff. I also knew someone who worked in KFC (what are the odds of that eh?!) and he said the pay, i dunno about the benifits though.

I think the average wage for somebody working in a fast food restaurant was about £17,500.

Well obviously you'll need a lunch break so they give you free food as part of your wage I guess.

The city center McDonalds are franchised and they do what they like and becase they are not owned nor run by McDonalds themseves they cvan pay what they like, give you what they like and sell stuff at whatever price they like, so it will depend on what mcdonalds store your talking about my friend!

Also Mit, you have a very very sad friend that you need to help get a life, but i cant talk because im on the net 24/7 & That is a matter of FA(c)T

They don't have quite that much freedom, they still have to follow certain guidelines.

And why not get a real job?
