To install vbulletin on WINDOWS xp, do u have to have dreamwaver?
And if yes, does that mean u have to pay for it?

I know there is a trial version but if u use that then upload the files to a webserver but the trial runs out, does that mean the forum will go down?

To do what, if your uploading onto a webserver you use FTP (i.e. SmartFTP) and connect to it ftp.yourhost.com user: your cpanel user pass: your cpanel pass.

SmartFTP connects you to his host so you'd drag the files from his computer into the box and it'd upload then he'd go by vBulletin instructions to install it etc.

Yes when uploading things on your site it comes with a user + pass, whatever your host is put ftp.yourhosthere and user + pass ..

i.e.

Ftp.habbox.com
User: Scott
Pass: Scott

The above is just an example and is not real :)

That site above is a domain website , a domain is like www.habbox.com , you need actual hosting (web space to put your content on).

mySQL isnt a host. Most hosts contain PHP and mySQL. So just find a host..

Theres free ones and ones you pay for, but personally if you're paying £52 or so for a vbulletin i'd buy a host instead of free.
