Looks fantastic.

a) How are you encrypting passwords?
b) How are you sanitizing data/returning data safetly?

Sorry, have to play safety freak here ;P

Hmmm, skin selector?

Maybe for a later version, I don't think there's a tremendous need for skin changes in an Admin CP.

You don't even know PHP so why are you even asking? Seems to me you're just asking questions to make yourself look knowledgeable.

They're probably encryping passwords with md5 and possibly using a salt.

... Ryan, I think it's been almost twelve months since I've seen you on a forum. I suggest you forget anything you knew about me previously. I knew PHP then, but just the basics. I'd consider myself ten times as competent now as I was back then. How about you let me be knowledgeable about PHP security, an issue I have an enormous amount of experience in. Take a backseat, and stop hijacking this thread.

That's funny, because when I search for all the posts by me it seems I've posted quite a bit in the last 12 months...

If you 'knew php then, but just the basics', then you didn't know PHP did you. Prove to me you have an enormous amount of experience in security, something other than oh you have to md5 ur pws!!1

EDIT: As for iTechnical, shut the **** up and actually reply with a comeback apposed to letting someone else do it for you because you can't.

Rofl, I have many comebacks, I just dislike wasting them on trash like yourself.

I'm sure you have posted in the last twelve months. I only recently started using HxF. The last time I've seen you on a forum was HF, approximately a year ago.

Seems to me, Ryan, you're getting your tenses confused. I knew the basics of PHP twelve months ago, however this isn't the case now, I'd consider myself much more advanced now than I was before.

I'm sure you wouldn't be surprised at the amount of applications developed by members of these boards that are completely unsecure, passwords being stored as plaintext and the like. I was simply enquiring into the use of encryption, a) to make sure it existed, b) to suggest using salts (as many users don't use them when developing applications).

As for 'proving mah skillz' to you, I honestly can't be bothered. Why should I prove anything to you? All I'll say, is applications I've created have been stress tested to the max, by developers much more knowledgeable than myself, and have found to be extremely secure. In addition, I've developed scripts to be used on sites like HabboDown and HabboHut (owned and maintained by Sulake Staff). My scripts have been vetted by the likes of Scorbutic and Johno, and sure, the occasional error has been found. However, it's added to my expertise in this area.

For the second and final time, stop going off topic. If you 'really' want to continue the debate, stop trying to do it in the public view (because really, I'd bet a large sum of money you've gained the respect of nobody), and do so via PM.

Lets continue with the original topic of the thread, discussing the features of HSP.

MD5ed passwords, you suggested (benzoenator) salting them to me after I'd MD5ed them, but maybe in the next release I will.

I'm just gonna back away now and let you argue.

Definitely start salting, it looks like MD5 rainbow tables are all teh rage on HxF at the moment.

You need a status signitures section with a decent frontend similar to the one youve already built
Plugin section
A proper content management system where you can just put in an includes and edit it striaght from the panel using a wysiwyg editor.
Shoutbox/chatroom
Update system

Plugin section > Would be pretty useless seen as it's already got basically everything in it.

A proper content management system where you can just put in an includes and edit it striaght from the panel using a wysiwyg editor. > No because then it'd be a CMS and not a Site Panel.
Shoutbox/chatroom > Look harder on the "General Options."
Update system > Will most probably be doing that.
Read bold bits.

If its a Site Panel, then its supposed to manage sites letting you edit and add pages. So it is actually a CMS.

It does manager sites but not to a full extent at the moment it just does basic things for now :)

If I had a Site Panel, I would want it to edit my content, not just do some simple frontend things, so I dont have to do pages myself.
