How do I code a layout.

k, I've made a layout on Photoshop and im looking to code it for a website. Im kinda a noob when it comes to this but I have Dreamweaver and Fireworks on my Computer if thats any help.

Best tip is get rid of the ides, there good as time savers but you'll never produce anything decent if you use em before learning to code properly.
Createing a websites pretty simple, just break it up in the blocks (rectangles), work out relevent images (css can position to any edge, u can also do position), set up ya divs, style, slice the images u need, add them as backgrounds, add content ya done.
If you dont really know html, htmlgoodies.com's primers are a good place to start with the basics. :)

01101101entor - Good advice, but more so for someone who knows what they are doing.

If your totally new to coding and slicing etc... you best option is to start with tutorial sites, experimenting with the tutorials. That is how most professional designers learnt originally and how many new additions to the design world will learn.

My favorite for tutorials is www.pixel2life.com - not only do they offer vast amonts of tutorials, they also offer them on a wide range of categories.
