My mate did one and loads of stuff was happening to her and her room when she came home from work. :O
It's a load of rubbish. Don't waste your time.
Its basically pretending there is a ghost controlling your finger, its just gravity pushing it away and ur unconscious mind making it go places.
Its so fake aswell like people say whats ur name then its like "M.....P....Whats your name?"
Stupid thing

they are fake, or very dangerous if they are real. But in my op. its fake and just a thing to try and scare people.

I believe them tbh. I know someone whose grandad did one when he was a kid and it made him go strange and whenever my mate mentioned a Ouija board to his grandad his grandad flipped and starts swearing at him etc about not to mess with them.

they are fake, or very dangerous if they are real. But in my op. its fake and just a thing to try and scare people. This girl in my old school did one. She was laughing and joking at school, she told everybody and a teacher. She said she got a bruise on her leg in a weird shape, of a 12. She also said at 12:00 and 24:00 she cant stop crying... because of something. Most people were like "yeah right" and we didn't think anything of it. Then it came to lunch time, and weird but true she started crying, she went ******* crazy! She was proper bawling her eyes out, crazy. In the end a priest had to see her or something.
So, yeah, it was weird seeing her like that. :S
We don't know anything about "ghosts" or whatever. Maybe they're real and can only contact us in certain things, like ouiji boards... don't say "lol u noob" because how do you know?

An ouija (often pronounced "wee-gee") is any flat surface printed with letters, numbers, and other symbols, to which a planchette (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planchette) or movable indicator points, supposedly in answer to questions from people at a séance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%A9ance). The fingers of the participants are placed on the planchette that then moves about the board to spell out messages. Ouija is a trademark for a talking board currently sold by Parker Brothers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parker_Brothers) [1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouija#_note-0). While the word is not considered a genericized trademark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genericized_trademark), it has become a trademark which is often used generically (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_proprietary_eponyms_based_on_active_tradem arks) to refer to any talking board. In popular culture these boards are a spiritual gateway used to contact the dead; however, the only evidence for this is the various accounts of users, which have not been scientifically proven.
I dont know what to believe. Some people i know said they have done it and it has actually moved and they have been creeped out. And some people i know have just said their a load of crap and its your mind messing with you. I dont know, just if your unsure. Their is no need to do it.

I don't know, apparently it's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor_effect happening. Not that I believe in "human phenomenon" anymore than dead people moving things around on an altered chess board.

Exactly. People are just performing in that way because of the circumstancesm and because they want it to happen, so they become carried away with themselves believing it's true.

Why don't I do well in an exam because I want to do well?

If you really wanted to do well then you would do well for what you are capable of.

The only reason the cup moves is because of subconscious movements, It's like when watching a football game sometimes you'll subconsciously move your foot as if you we're about the kick the ball.
People think of whatever they want to come up and will subconsciously move the cup to what the we're thinking.
So when the cup does move to what they thought they get scared when they moved the cup on their own without noticing.
It's just a load of ****

Well my point was why doesn't such human phenomenon apply to all situations?

Of course not.
Using a ouija board you usually expect something to happen and want something to happen therefore your body makes it happen. You can't want to fly and just do it.
