I have worked it out now.

Its a masive iPod with a radio tuner, a big (non color) screen a strange hole with a trey coming out and a speak on the side, the big back is to keep it up and the odd thing on the front is a letter "i".

Well I agree with the shading part of it, maybe adding a bit more detail to it in the middle or something.
