Call of Duty 4!

I saw it in ChoicesUK though (for like £55) and apparently it got 40 E3 awards

Still, as strong as Call of Duty 4 is shaping up to be in the gameplay department, the most immediately impressive aspect is by far its graphics. The PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions all look surprisingly similar, but that's not due to one platform being the lead; Infinity Ward personally assured us that development occurred simultaneously on all three platforms, and that there wasn't a base system. With that said, the console similarities end when it comes to textures, lighting and resolutions, because those three areas make the PlayStation 3 version definitely excel over the Xbox 360 SKU. Regardless, every console owner will proudly use Call of Duty 4 to showcase their high-definition TV, because COD4 is by far the best-looking console game you will see this year.

I got it for PC on thursday and its really cool I haven't played any single player yet but multiplayer is fun! You can make your own custom class to put a camouflage and attachment onto your weapon (e.g. silencer for pistol) :D

the part where you chase zakhaev's son.
if you stay back and pick them off 1 by 1 he gets away... if you run after him you get annihilated.... :(

the bridge collapses and you have to jump except its impossible - you just fall and die :(:(:(

Lol you need to stand up, when the mission starts you're crouching so stand up and you move faster

I've completed more missions on veteran now, all I have left achievement wise is to complete from "Alll Ghillied up" to the end of the game on veteran and beat "Mile High Club" on veteran lol

The very last mission on the plane is amazing! Done it on hardend, gonna try it on Veteran later on today. :)

Also the multiplayer is amazing, pitty my home internet keeps going down.

I like this game the multiplayer alone makes the game worth it online for the xbox360. Single player is hard on veteran.

Hard is just not the word, a single mission of veteran takes absolutly ages to complete, I just finished "All Ghillied up" which is the easiest mission on the game on veteran and I am dreading "One shot, one kill" xD

I'm only 23 at the moment, I've been trying hard to try beat the game on Veteran, I'm on the end of "one shot, one kill" and I keep dying, it's so hard xD

Veteran on COD4 is way easier than any other COD game but it has level that are REALLY hard xD

Lmao, ended up getting shot by a noob with a Skorpian, I had Last Stand on and while he just walked away I killed him. Then he respawned in the corner and I killed him again! xD

But it was also one of THE best campaigns I have ever played. Amazing.

I played the multiplayer in the beta and it was amazing. Glad I only rented it though.

The multiplayer was much more limited on the beta, you get alot more of a challenge from the full game xD
