It's realy irritating that most of the threads in there are not even news.
We have numerous pointless threads that are not even needed.

Lost_Witness it back? It's not news?
The background of the homepage has changed? It's not news?
The games tab has gone? It's not news?

i can go on naiming numerous threads.
they should be closed and members should be warned.

In the Specific Forum Rules thread in the Habbo UK News & Rumours Forum, there is a post by 8Freak8 which says ""News" can also refer to anything that may affect or interest a reasonable amount of people." Although it might not be news as such, if it meets those criteria it is fine to be posted in that Forum. If certain things seem totally pointless you could report the post and a Moderator could review it and move it if necessary.

you proberly would of agreed with me if i didn't name one of your threads.
it shouldn't be called Habbo News & Rumours.

It should be Habbo News, Rumours & Gossip :)

half the thread in there are just pointless and just get sarcastic spam replies.

I agree with things like that, but there are things that say, wouldn't be posted on the Habbox News Pages but might be of interest to people so posting them in the UK News and Rumours should be fine. I think it just requires strict Moderation. I understand some things annoy some people, but it might be interesting to others and it's only fair that everyone gets a slice of the cake or w/e!

I kind of agree with you, but I still think they should be allowed.

Things like that may lead to bigger secrets or such coming out. You never know. ;)

You can define a rumour as gossip, because people are gossiping if they spread rumours :P.

Threads that you feel are pointless can be reported using the appropriate buttons, however it is a relatively 'common-sense' issue. News to one person can be totally pointless to another, you just have to respect the fact that people have different opinions on what is news.

For example, you could watch the five o'clock news, and hear a story about how a man has 37 cats in his house, this isn't news to me, and yet it is news to somebody else.

someone posted something like "lostie is leaving" and tbh, that's technically a rumour. the rumour part of the forum definatly needs stricter moderation.

lol @ 37 cat thing, how random.

it would be silly to report a thread which doesn't break any rules, don't you think?

Sorry, Thought I'll talk in your text format.

OK, a new background is conciderd news, Lost_witness is back is not news but it should be moved to the Habbo In General, The moderators are being careless ignore post reports and leaving threads what aren't even Habbo UK News in that section so I think we should have a supermoderator sorting all this out, Just like the ''Callie loves you all'' Their was not enough proof, nor evidence to stand opon to make that conciderd news, Tbh, Close the forum and let an autobot post the news and leave sub forums called
''Habbo UK''
''Habbo US''
''Habbo INT''

Because then, we can post ****.

Moderatos do sort it out and would do the same as a supermod would do. If you have a problem post it in the Feedback Section.

There are news items that habbo don't cover in their official news posts, so that would be impractical.

That forum has ALWAYS been full of rubbish, and I've been around here for over 3 years. I don't think its ever going to change :P The problem is fuelled by people keeping the thread alive by posting "old news, not news" and things like that. If people stopped doing that, the spam threads would simply die. But they do.
