Anyone know a good program that allows me to remove the backing track or vocals from a song.

Run the .exe
Install to default location
Run WinAmp
Go to Options > Preferences
Go to Plugins
Change DSP/Effect plug-in directory to C:/Program Files/Plugins
Go to DSP/effects
Click on Vocal remover

Voila

You have to get the right % on the mixer. Or you're using the wrong type of music
