Okay, a lot of people ask me on a daily basis where I get my icons from or if I make them. On a lot of occassions I do make my own icons, however I use ones from free as well as pay sites to improve the site and save a bit of time.

One of the most popular icon distributer there is, you can find these icons on tonnes of sites these days. Global companies even use them instead of making your own. The only thing he asks for in return is a nice thank you on your site.

This isn't technically an Icon only site, but it does contain them. The average bundle of icons cost 7 iStock Credits. Which is £5 I think, not 100% sure. However the level they are at is incredible and come in PSD and Bitmap format (usuaull). This is very handy for editing and using almost anywhere on your site.

Some of the icons featured on this site are truely amazing, then again some are down right awful. This is once again a paid site so you got to pay per thing you purchase. Some are crazy prices though, so if you're buying from here you will want to break open the piggy bank a lot of them around the $299 mark.
