Well, I think someone got a little excited with the definition 'mini'. Needs to be a little bigger, very hard to read lol.

Hmmm, i'll give an 8/10.

Maybe boost the text size up 1-2
and possibly make it a bit bigger.
I get the concept you were going for.

It's not meant to be fancy if it's a portfolio.

I think you should make it visible to anyone not running a 640X480 resoloution monitor though :)

It's not meant to be fancy if it's a portfolio.

You can make a portfolio how you like, there's no set guidelines.

Your client will be visiting your portfolio for refrences - and I can guarantee you that if that looks like crap then they'll click the X straight away. Your portfolio doesn't look nice. The striped background looks to me like you've taken it straight out of a Habbo fansite. The white strokes are too bright for such a dark design and I don't think the colours are appealing. Why have you chosen such a small font size - the font looks horrible because of it and it is not user friendly.

I know that it is just an image, but I hope you do not plan on using images for text on the live version. Maybe only for the navigation if completely needed. If not, you should try not to use anti-aliased text until you get to size 18 - so you get a real feel of what it will look like.
