you can learn at 16 if your disabled.
if you have a provisional you can drive if someone over the age of 21 and who has been driving 3+ years is with you.

It's different ages in different countries like in nz it's 15, canada is 16 etc
I thought you had to be 17 to drive?

Yeah, you need your provisional to start as well - you can apply 4 months before your 17 I believe.

Basically you get your provisional at 16, but you can't drive or learn till your 17.

:)

Oh and I think you have to do your theory before you learn to drive.

you can apply for your provisional at the age of 16 if you are reciveing disability allowance or wanting to drive a moeped but you cannot drive a car until you turn 17 but you can apply for your provisional 2 months before your 17th birthday. just not able to drive until its your 17th birthday.

Nope, you can learn to drive and do your theory at any time. I did my theory in the middle of learning, but you can do theory at the begininning or before you've learnt or near the end of learning, where you need the theory to take the test.

You have to pass your theory test before taking your practical test, but can learn both at the same time

Right, lets settle it lol

you can get your provisional 90 days before your 16th, and you start learning when your 17
