In most of my lessons I can never get down to do my work and concentrate. Im in year 9 now and I have to do SAT's. So it is an important year for me, any tips of not talking etc?

They are worth something. If you do really bad in your SATs, your most likely to get entered for the foundation paper at GCSE which means you can't get higher than a C therefore it may be harder for you to enter some A level courses.

what?
you can move up/down sets as you dont have your gcses at the beginning of year 10 straight away. so if you dont do good in your sats, it doesnt matter too much.

I was just saying that they are no where near as important as GCSEs

Sats are easy anyway,
if you get a 5 or above you'll be fine

SAT'S mean nothing, if you are too good/bad for your groups in school/college you will be moved up/down groups..

Teachers make out its a big deal, when its clearly not.

GCSE's don't mean as much as you think either.

I disagree, GCSE's mean something.
Just relax and you will be able to concentrate much better :)

SATs aren't that important alone but if you want to go on to do well in thr future it's better to do well now if you get me.

For concetration it can be a number of things, who you're sitting next to, your diet, if you eat junk food, sugary things they can effect your concetration.

Also to the person who got 5,5,5 in year 6.. the levels are different in year 9 SATs, well harder so a level 5 in year 9 isn't the same as a year 6 one. If that makes sense :).
