What did you take?
I'm also wandering, can i take Music as a GCSE even if i don't play an instrument ? Because i have an ear for music you know..

I think its better if you do play one because I think you have to do compositions?

i took modern studies, drama, admin & history.
we were only allowed to take music if we did singing lessons or any instrument lessons.

I took drama, food, ict and sociology
but quite a few of my mates took music and the ones who didn't play instruments ended up taking them up because they struggled quite a bit, unless you are a really good singer, an instrument is needed imo.

I'll say one thing, DO NOT TAKE MUSIC IF YOU DON'T PLAY AN INSTRUMENT.
I made that mistake, and jesus christ it was a big one..
You HAVE to do two preformances, a Solo and Ensomble, and you either have to play an instrument or sing, or you fail.
I took Business Studies, Music, German & Geography.
I took IT, Drama, History, French and Catering

I took ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence), Art & Drama,
But I don't to go school anymore.
Um, I didn't do GCSEs I done things called Standard Grades and I took;
English, Maths, German, Physics, Geography, Craft & Design, Art & Design, RME, PE, Computing
Then for Higher I took;
English, Maths, Geography, Information Systems, Product Design

Stipid school doesnt let us do ICT coz they say its "too easy" so they want us to have a hard time i guess. Ill do it for A-lewvel then do a 3 year unniversity course on it then get a job on it instead :D
