I recently had my alt account unbanned so used it for a bit today only to have someone report it again.
Im not exactly upset, it's just i find it funny that people should be so jealous as to think just because someone else has something they dont, then they shouldn't be allowed it.
Strange. Anyway my perm ban expires on like 4/13/19. Hooray.

FYI the name of the account was;

I'd have to say you got banned for having an account with ALT codes in it, because if I remember correctly, Habbo outlawed that.

Please ignore the above statement, by Alt, I thought you meant Alternate, I see you mean ALT code now. But yes, good thing they banned it. It's ILLEGAL.

Fair enough that's your opinion but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was a good thing they banned it. There is ZERO harm I could have done. It was there fault for letting tere guard down, albeit for a short amount of time. When it was made it was NOT "against the habbo way" so I had and still have no intention to "break the habbo way". :)

I don't think you should be banned. If they let you have the name before they put the rule in, then I guess its tough cookies for Habbo. But if I was you, if you really need it back, just explain (kindly?) to them how and why you want your account back :P

And if you have the name, everyone else will want an 'alt name'.

Fair point about the invisible alt names but clearly my name isnt impersonating anyone. and you said that others may want it, which is a good point however I don't see that other's jealousy should be a reason to ban MY account. ;)

bit of an old thread but hey..

anyone know the reason why there banned and not just because other people will want one. it may be because you cannot search for them.

i still have my MOD- account and SOS- if they ever changed it :)

MOD accounts shouldn't be banned unless you created one after the rule was put in. This rule and the ban wasn't released to the public till about mid 2005 early 2006. Maybe earlier?
