PHP Licensing System!

Well i am going to make a PHP licensing system it will be free but i do not know if i am going to encode it or not but any ways.

i want to know what features i would put in it so far i have

General
- 3 level user system ( root Administrator, Administrator, Client )
- Licensing call back
- PayPal ipn ordering.

Administration
- editing users
- editing licenses
- generate API

that all i got what else

(note do not reply if it is not going to be nice or say there's no point only post if its to tell me what else you would like to see in this and positive things)

Cool idea, I'm making the same sort of thing except mine will be solely for use on my site. Another feature I think would be useful is having it so that the Root Admin can decide how the license error messages work (for example if they want people redirected back to their licensing site or if you can make like a local error page that they can include in their scripts). On this error page it would also be useful to tell the user exactly what doesn't match, for example:



LICENSE ERROR!
-------------------
The [domain/folder/server/etc.] that you are currently attempting to use this script on does not match that of our records. If you own this license and something has changed on your site recently then click here to go to our site and change your license details.

Your Current Config: [Lists current domain, folder, server, etc.]


Also might be advisable to set a limit on how many free licenses a user can purchase/have. Another possibility is limiting the times per month a user can edit a certain license (can be set by root admin).

To be honest, I released a similar product called "PHPLock" and it was not really a great success. However, good luck with it.

Okay all i have now got the new features list made up.

General
- 4 level user system ( root Administrator, Administrator, Support, Client )
- Licensing call back
- PayPal ipn ordering.
- built in support ticketing
- templates (so you can make your own skins easy)
- multi language support

Administration
- group permissions ( setting permissions for the 2 levels )
- editing users
- editing licenses
- generate API ( makes a sample code with the settings you pick and you edit that code to fit with your php project )
- System set up (settings like cookie settings, how many times you can edit a Licence etc)
- easy to use updater ( with will be a basic thing to tell you if your panel needs to be updated or not )

and i am still open for ideas. and one other note the coding of the project has now started.

nop any ways i have just finshed the template system it using easy pls-temp code (in other words to show the php nav on your temp late you would put {php:nav} in the html)

Okay people just a sample update i have now installed flyspray to help me find bug and feature request.

okay well just got some pms asking when this out and hows it going well it will not be out any time soon i can say as i am having to rewrite the hole thing as it stuffed up big time and i had no backups and i want to make the us framework (user system) it will be using more stable.
