View Full Version : TFHA Logger

Don't know how true this is, but i'm sure tm can be trusted.
We've heard from Habbo staff that they've been contacted by a big anti-virus software company to say that a popular Habbo scripting application called TFHA X has a sophisticated and very dangerous keylogger called Win-Spy bundled within it.
It records all keystrokes, and also takes screenshots of the victim's PC at regular intervals and emails those to the 'hacker' too.
Whatever you do DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APPLICATION and if you already have it, remove it instantly and reboot in safe mode, do a virus scan and clean up the mess.
Your habbo accounts, habbos.net account, ebay account, email addresses and paypal information as well as every other password protected account you own is at great risk!
Of course the advice is never to download scripting or any other applications which you are not 100% certain are safe.
If you know anyone who may have downloaded this application please contact them with this information immediately.

To summarise.
According to habbos.net staff emailed them saying tfha takes screenshots of your pc, apparently taking passwords and names. I don't see how this can reveal passwords though..

I can't see the truth in that, not unless Sulake have confirmed it somewhere.

Simmz released the source, nothing bad in it.

According to the original post it can record key strokes (keylogger), as well as screen cap.

So just scaremongering by Sulake?
According to the original post tt can record key strokes (keylogger), as well as screen cap.
Apologies.

So just scaremongering by Sulake?
I assume so. But I doubt he would release the source and also, TFHA X has been out for MONTHS and nothing bad has happened. It also doesn't work, so no-one will be downloading it now..
Markness.

Common sence innit ?
If you are daft enough to download it then u deserve it imo.
It's not scaremongering, or lies, or whatever
Staff were alerted by an Anti-Virus company stating the situation
If you have it, or anyone you know has it, get them to run a FULL virus check, and get rid of it. It's hidden inside the script, and is a keylogger, but takes screenshots too so they know what ur doing.

simmzy & dean is trusted, and its been out for ages, aswell as the souce being released, and nothing has happened to me. Also it doesn't work anymore so why would anyone download it?
All I can say is, as far as i'm concerned, the OFFICIAL one is safe, but i can't gaurentee that if you go downloading from sites called SKRIPTZ4HABBZ.TK, common sense really.
I think they're trying to scare people off

1) I don't think it has a keylogger as many people use it and have never been hacked.
2) Simmzy released the source anyway and nothing dodgy was in it.
3) It doesn't work anymore.
And a word of advice about the WIN-SPY keylogger.
If you have WIN-SPY, hardly any anti-virus' can pick it up, It's that good.
The thing I had to do when I got it off a member of this forum, was to delete everything on my computer and start again.
I know it sounds a bit of a bum, but it's what I had to do to get rid off it.

only the patched version has a key logger in.
That's as true as Walt Disney is still alive
But seriously, sulake contacted them and asked them to do this.

If that is true, the first time it came out it was fine.

Personally i don't believe its true because when you see these guys posts and knowledge of the stuff it seems like they have much better things to do than be stealings FURNIZZ and being a rich pixel.
I feel sorry for the people that downloaded it tbh.

Why pity someone who can roll around laughing at your naivity.
Whatever sulake seem to do, all i can do is take the cynical approach.. More and more they alienate the users, im not sure how long it will be before they take facebooks approach and make scripting legal... Boy will that kill scripting once and for all... Actually, if sulake read hxf, please read this, make scripting ok not only will you kill scripting, youll also half your already pathetic user base (not that i have any better, but in comparison to what it was pre-sell out)

Simmzy released the VB source ages ago, there was nothing bundled in it.
What these people found was *probably* a version created by another 3rd-party user (not Simmzy) using the TFHA X source, and released it.
You cant name Scripting programes on Habbox?

Why would this bother habbo? Their staff seem to be trying to keep people away from the program.
scripting is not allowed so why should they care if people get logged when breaking their T&C's it would serve them right.
There seems to be a big increase of important staff on habbo uk over the last few days :o Maybe they are worried about some sort of exploit? perhaps the program mentioned is pretty close to accessing something important? The techies are all over the place for some reason.
I suggest you dont download it if there are some for download that has now had a logger added and if it wont work then no point.
Good luck to anybody else in finding what the big deal to stop this program being used/downloaded is.

If you don't trust it, you can run it from the source =/

It's a bit obvious these scripting programs are going to be full ****, you just don't download them.. but the foolish people do >.<.
It would bother Habbo as they want to keep as many users and possible and by them getting keylogged it will lose habbo users and therefore habbo will care, and because most of habbo staff are genuinely nice people who care about safety.

Ha, what a pile of rubbish. The source to TFHA was released, and I guess some idiot added a logger. The actual version of TFHA doesn't keylog, neither does it contain any form of spyware, malware or virus.
Peace out.
Simmzay

I never added a keylogger to it. I haven't touched TFHA in something like seven months and stopped going on Habbo. If it's a virus it's probably someone elses revised version of the program, not the official one.

tfha was the shiz back then.
Lol, stupid people who downloaded it are gonna get screwed

TFHA X is not a logger rofl....any random person couldve just chose TFHA X application and binded their own keylogger in it and sent it to people... this is the same with any application scan it before you open it and dont download applications off suspicious sites

The foolish people do.
Scripting requires intelligence.
Using scripting often requires relative intelligence
Calling people foolish, surprisingly, does not require intelligence.
Dont worry if you have been keylogged, habbo will just take TFHA* to court, right?
*[/sarcasm]
people shouldnt be using scripting stuff anyways lol
