I was reading this, and if it's true then it goes to show it doesn't exist.
Some important quotes from the text..
Scientific research through U.S. Government satellite and balloon measurements shows that the temperature is actually cooling - very slightly - .037 degrees Celsius.
Changes in global temperatures are natural. There is no proof that temperature is affected by anything that man has done. In fact, recent severe weather has been directly attributed to a natural phenomenon that occurs every so often called El Nino. It causes ocean temperatures to rise as tropical trade winds actually reverse for a time.
It's completely natural. El Nino has been wreaking its havoc across the globe since long before man appeared.
How about the reports that the polar ice cap is melting?
Well, yes it is. In fact, it has been for about a million years or so. We are at the end of the ice age in which ice covered most of North American and Northern Europe.
There's at least one environmentalist, named Al Gore, who is panicking over the possibility that we may soon lose Glacier National Park in Montana because the ice is melting. One hates to tell him that we've already lost the glacier that used to cover the whole country.
So some important points from this that even I didn't know are, that the Ice Age has still not properly ended.
The UN today recently used examples of New Orleans and Bangladesh crisis' to prove Global Warming. However they misssed out the following points which are TRUE.
New Orleans is a flood plain and has always been, thus they have levee's.
Bangladesh is low lying land which has always flooded before we were here.So are the scientists always correct, apparently not due to the above. Another example of Scientists being wrong is in the 1960's when Scientists told US soliders is was 'ok' to look at a Nuclear Bomb going off, and it was 'ok' to sit near a bomb completly unprotected.
Case closed ;)

I actually already new this, and yes its interesting, and i myself do not fully believe in global warming, butt his cannot argue with the fact that man IS dammaging the ozone layer.

As i said before,
We only speeding it up ;).
If it true, then you completely change my head about global warming. Lol

I never belived it in the first place. Global warming is a theory, It's part of the worlds' natuaral cycle in my opinion.

Yeah. I always wondered that. I don't see the weather changing where I live. It's getting cooler. If the globe was warming up, then don't you think we would have heavy snowfalls, etc..? We do still.
Good now despite people can stop acting pathetic using stupid stuff that apparently caused Global Warming.

It also angers me how it is taught in schools as if it were true. I had this Science Teacher who had a brain and some common sense and he never taught us about it because he said it's a load of crap to get money out of you.

yeah.. kinda old lol some parts of Scotland are still frozen from the Ice Age.

I believe Global Warming does exist. The iceage may still be the cause of some warmth. However, I still think a primary cause of the heat increasing is Global Warming.

I got sent out because of this, In science the teacher asked me how is global warming affecting the world, I said "it isnt". He sent me out. They should teach it, in the same way they teach religion, they should teach it as if it is a belief and not completely fact.

I dont really give a damm about Global Warming anyway. Even if it is true it wont effect the Earth in my lifetime. To be honast, I dont really care about anything scientific...explains my D in GCSE Science :P
Knowone actually knows.
So the sun could be getting hotter we can't tell for a fact exactly.
For those who keep going "you shouldn't do that, or use that" because who cares.
It will be hundreds of thousands till it takes major effects.
The ice age is melting normally. Its the end of it. Then in so many million/billion years it will start all over again. But none of us will be here to witness it.

I am very skeptical about men-made global warming (by which I mean the idea that men causes global warming). I don't know if it exists or not, but I don't think that we can say much about it at this moment, as we don't know enough about which factors influence climate change and in what way.
Below is a video made by people who don't support men-made global warming, and there is another interesting video called "The great global warming swindle" to which I can't find a link at the moment.
But you have to be careful to believe everything they say in these documentaries, as they are made as propaganda against global warming.

To be fair I dont think Global warming is the correct term which should be used for what man is doing to our planet as it inserts an absurd theory into our minds, we see firstly and then think about what our mind interprets straight away and thats why we think global warming is fake because it sound so ridiculous.
To be fair we are ruining the planet, by consuming fuels at an alarmingly fast rate and putting enourmous amounts of harmful chemicals into the sea and air, thats why so many animals are becoming extinct, because of the faults of man.

For the record, gravity is a theory as well. The fact global warming is also doesnt really say much about the validity of it. After all you haven't floated off yet because gravity's just a theory now have you.
The wide consensus about the people who are alot smarter than any of us here, have all the evidence available to them and have been doing there job a long time is that, The world is heating up. Global warming is taking place.
A few scientists disagree, most of them admittedly on the pay roll of big oil company's.. no conflict on interests there *cough*, but still, does the existence of other theory's disprove global warming? As there are plenty of "scientists" out there arguing the earths flat and gravity not real as well. Being qualified in a profession doesn't negate the possibly of you becoming a nut case later on after all.
Science is only incoherent for people who don't understand what science is.

You are wrong about the Oil Company rubbish, did you know many scientists support the Global Warming theory so their instituions get more funding from Governments and the UN. The Oil Company rubbish is a way to discredit the scientists who think it is not man made.
You say the scientists are cleverer than us, but how can that be when they told many US soliders it was 'ok' to sit near Nuclear Blasts, and how they told them people it was 'ok' to look at a blast.
Global Warming has happend before, whereas Gravity hasn't. The two are completley different and it is stupid to compare them.

This thread has inspired me to do my science coursework about global warming. We need to do coursework on something in science which is debatable and this seems quite topical. The link will really help. Thanks. +Rep if I can. :)

Yes, as we all know large profit driven oil company's should be trusted, who could even imply they may bias the scientists working for them in order to benefit them selves.
A shady organization's like the united nations on the other hand, well they should never be trusted to not bias there scientists against there own interests. What next, Assuming the BBC has less bias than Rupet Murdock? how obsurd...

The fact you actually wrote that just now, and whats more dont see the problem with what you just said, proves far more than anything i could ever say, that the scientists are a damn sight smarter.
Global Warming has happened before, whereas Gravity hasn't. The two are completely different and it is stupid to compare them.
Gravity hasn't happened before? Wow really? I always thought that was why i wasn't floating around the room and we were orbiting the sun... how wrong must i have been.

because of todays oil prices, oil companies are going to be bribing to make sure they look good and they get good money for their sales.
after all, the first gulf war was pretty much oil oil oil oil oil oil oil oil related.

You carry on believing the scientists then, yeah just sit infront of Nuclear explosions and you'll not have a problem. If I don't trust the Governments of the world, why the hell would I trust a hundred of the worlds Governments in one room?

The Oil Companies are the Governments and Administrations, have you noticed all this 'Green Tax' rubbish that the Governments are pushing onto us?
