I don't think anyone has noticed that. It's not the UK being popular through Habbos being unbanned and new users, it's because of the UK Hotel being the tester for R18 "/

The update has been out for almost a week, I doubt the extra 4K Habbos are from other hotels, maybe a 100 of em or so, but no way that much.
Habbo emailed everyone about the update, unbanned everyone, and have had one of the greatest updates since the launch of Habbo itself, those are the real reasons for everyone coming back :)
Could be to do with habbo teaming up with msn
Dont get it even though habbo are against giving out emails for msn and bebo and there advertising on there ill get the bebo image soon
but heres msn
too big to put image on here so heres the link

yeah, it was like what, 2 years ago? since there were 13,000 habbos online..
i guess its because the people who were banned decided to come back..

So the people going to other hotels with updates in the past, that went in their thousands is oblivious to you
There are thousands of Habbos from different hotels. I've counted many Dutch Habbos, French Habbos and last night there were loads of Italian Habbos storming the room themed around hairspray. The huge amount of Habbos IS because of R18. There is no logic behind the banned users, would they really use their old accounts when most of the time users who are banned just make new accounts "/ Only a minority of Habbos would be ones on banned accounts...

Habbo have been advertising on MSN for years... The Habbo link at the bottom of conversation windows is the equivilent to the image adverts in the main contact window "/

So ya know u never know see

I wasn't flaming, MSN has had Habbo adverts for years now and I very much doubt this has had much impact on the large amount of people going on the UK hotel. It must be because of R18. It's a big update and loads of Habbos seem to like it, so they maybe sticking around longer than usual.

Yeh, many of the banned were unbanned and returned.
Also, inactive members recieved emails.
Other hotels could be another factor.
I hate the lag though.

We're almost a week on, I doubt 4K Habbos on the Hotel are foreign still  Maybe 1K or so when the update was first released, but 5 days later, I dont think so :P

Other hotels are another factor... Unless the UK somehow turned into Europe over night with millions of users who were once French, Italian and the like...
We're almost a week on, I doubt 4K Habbos on the Hotel are foreign still  Maybe 1K or so when the update was first released, but 5 days later, I dont think so :P
So you are saying that the hundreds of European members who speak a different language to English were once old members... There are more than 1k of members who are from outside the UK. Consider the fact that there are hundreds of hotels across the globe. Now consider, if you bothered looking up, that the number of Habbos on those Hotels has dropped slightly lately.

There is quite a few new members I'd say, at about 10pm there is around 7/8k on and during day there is around 8/9k on quite a lot imo and they can't be staying on allll day and it's been a few days now since release.

Hundreds? Only like... 25, lol.
Most are in different timezones anyway...
My point is, that not all 4K extra Habbos are foreign, the majority are old users coming back, you wouldnt beleive how many console messages I've been getting saying 'hey, i got banned from habbo and now they unbanned me, i luv the update im coming bak!1!'
Especially 5 days after the update, I doubt there are tonnes of foreigners online

I'd just love it to block IPs from other countries, the amount of upset users on Habboxforum would allow me to laugh for days endlessly. The people suing Habbo, the people with Number 10 petitions, and rebellions would simply be hilarious ;)
However it'd lose UK visitors so i doubt it :(

Well I hope this will stay! I remembered in early 2006 when I joined, there was always loads of people online!
Edit/ To above, I use UK as my main hotel and I live in SG, they BETTER not do that :(
Thats probably why my habbo froze on me before :P I predict 12,000 on Club Tropicas opening day :P

I highly doubt your Habbo client froze due to 10k people, year+ ago it always got over 10k during peak times, thus why the servers we're expanded to hold more people.

I highly doubt your Habbo client froze due to 10k people, year+ ago it always got over 10k during peak times, thus why the servers we're expanded to hold more people. All weekend since Friday there's been lag and furni loading issue's the whole lot, the 'Lag' packadge in every form. This includes loading the client, getting in rooms etc. Regardless of the sense in this, it's just as bad as it used to be, and when it used to be around 13,000, there was still plenty of lag.
I predict 12,000 on Club Tropicas opening day :PI really don't see what your on about that? Unless it's me, but there is absolutely no sense in your post? Why would Habbo visitors increase by 2,000 when a large rival online game opens? Don't they go down instead? :S

He's not saying habbo numbers will go up when clubtropica opens, he's saying that he thinks when clubtropica does finally open it'll get 12000 users on the first day.

ClubTropica was meant to open this month.
And fusion-city was meant to open 3 years ago
