Virus problems

My brother recently downloaded something which was an 'exe.' file and I know the majority of these are virsus'.
There's been a tonne of virsus' popping up and I have to keep 'healing' them with AVG.
How can I get rid of this, I dont want harm to be done to my PC.

he was downloading a game for his emulator.

Do a simple system restore. It will make the computer what it was like at a specific date that you choose.

Just don't let your brother download stuff? Get an admin program to stop him from downloading on his account?
