The 41-year-old former world champion has been sentenced to 10 days in jail, but will only serve one day.
Tyson received three years' probation on each count, to run concurrently, said Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Helene Abrams in Arizona.
He was also sentenced to 360 hours of community service.
Tyson previously pleaded guilty to charges relating to an incident last year in which police reported him driving erratically after leaving a nightclub.
When officers approached his black BMW, they saw him wiping a white substance from the dashboard, court documents recorded.
Police found bags of cocaine in the vehicle and Tyson's pocket.
A controversial figure throughout his career, Tyson was convicted of rape in Indiana in 1992.
Seven years later he pleaded "no contest" to misdemeanour assault charges in Maryland.
