Trade & Casino

I was asked if I would make a Trade and Casino for Habbox.

Its quite similar to my old one but a much better shaped room :)
The Trade area and the Booths are away from the hand when it appears so it doesnt annoy me so much.
If you dont want to trade much you can hide on the balcony where the traders hands hide you quite well so you get less random offers.

I personally think its my best room I have made :o
I have had a V9 room full of thrones and supers but I think the furni used here works really well.

Its more of a Red and Gold style than me going for a gothic look etc.

I'd remove the gold bars in between the two sections and put something else there, the rotations don't look that smart since they overlap.

I also don't like the gothic flooring, but that's just personal taste, the way it's presented is good :).

The bars overlap even when they are not rotated :( thats a habbo problem im afraid.

I like the fish tank look :P

Most the flooring is bad and I really dislike petals but i guess its better than carpet..... just.

The room is excellent, it's obvious that a lot of thought has gone into this, as there are rollers from the entrance thus preventing door blockers, the booths are away from the entrance and are suitably placed, and there is plenty of walking, standing space for everyone to enter and sit comfortably without feeling claustrophobic. It's also very orginal in design, and from a visual aspect gets away from what has been traditionally lots of stacked yukkas, birdbaths, dinos, lodge plinths and dicemasters. 11 out of 10 from me :)

I really like this room and everything about it. It has the H Factor. But as smiddy said im not a great lover of the gold bars either.

But then again their are alot of people that do like it and the room will always be pop now xD

The only thing I'd say is swap the mode bars for something like poinsettas and I don't think the ropes and samovar look quite right.

I personally think trade rooms are much better in big rooms so that when there are 50 people all shouting its much easier to see whats what.
I am not a massive casino fan but i do believe if its made in a smaller room it should be either a Trade room OR a casino and NOT both.
With a v9 room i could fit both a trade and casino which in there and they are in seperate areas so that traders or gamblers are not all cramped together :) The balcony is also a bit of a chill area to get you away from the main trade/casino parts so you should hopefully get bothered less by randon offers.

I really dislike the mode bars to lol :o I will be altering that as soon as I work out what would look better. Maybe black or red mode bars? area bars? hmmmmmm anybody suggest something lol

I quite like the ropes and think the samover breaks the room up a little :) I did try lots of other things where the samover is but nothing looked anywhere near as good. I could always try gothic railings instead of the ropes? the trouble with them is they clash with the floor to much :o and the ropes continue the red and gold theme. The ropes are there just so we can shut off the balcony if we want some space ;)

The people who dont like the room who are posting in the feedback thread just say it looks awful :O if it is that bad if they explain why things can be altered if I agree.

I still say habbo should never put windows in ANY of the rooms :o then sell different sized windows as posters so we could add them anywhere we liked if needed.

I do actually really like this room, everything just seems to fit in in my opinion. It's very obvious you actually thought about each aspect of the room rather then doing it on the spot. You've kept a decent colour theme throughout the room which adds to the room. Everything just fit toegther well, nicely done.

Yes if you added more records that would be good as one looks random. Yes torches would look great at the outer edge - any lighting would make it look more dramatic. You could put the spotlight on top of the wall to give the same effect as long as it wasnt over the door. I have done that in my tech centre.

Its similar to my old room but a different shape and using mainly cushions instead of gothic stools.

I think thats an amazing idea and makes me feel quite stupid I never thought of it especially after using the gold bars for the balcony.

I am going to try this for sure and then can make a decision if its better but I think it will be far better.

Personally I don't like it because;

1) When I think of casinos I think of small rooms with well stacked pieces of furni.

2) Although you have "stacking", it doesn't do much for me because its basically the equivilent of stacked Z shelves. Since there is no knowledge required in stacking gold bars.


However. I do see that you have put a lot of effort into the room, and I respect that.

Another update lol

I think the booths look better but still not perfect.
I tried to stak the gold 2 high but it looked really bad all messed up.
I used red lazers instead of the monoloth because they look so much better.
Removed 2 hyacinths because they did look odd.
You can sit on the gold pillows hidden behind the lazers if you click on the far left of them just above the gold and next to the lazer.

This is about the best I can do for now
