about habbo news and rumours

can you please just make a thread and sticky it in news and rumours for habbo being down? becasuse their must be hundres of 'habbo down!' thread in news and rumours

hotel status thread
which a Mod could change to ONLINE/OFFLINE

but then you would need a mod online 24/7 lol
so wouldnt work..

so maybe make one thread that someone can post whether its down or not

glad to see people agree with the idea lol it gets so annoying when you see habbo down threads being made.. their tends to be more than one everytime it happens, plus you get people who think its down so they post a thread like 'is habbo down?'

maybe like, someone sugested i think, a thread where you post the status of the hotel, and where you can ask if its down or not etc

People would still post the threads, like they do with the unreleased rares one- but I suppose a mod would merge them. --ss-- has been merging a lot of the unreleased ones resently so yeh it would be a good idea.

Joshuar, you could easily with PHP, the error page on Habbo always stays the same.

You could make it to where it gets the HTML of Habbo, and compare it to the HTML of the error page, if they are the same.. hotel is down :)

Have a thread called hotel status stickied in the forum. A user can report it down and a MOD could change the title to " Hotel OFFLINE/DOWN ". But you may only post if it actually is.

But you have the problem of the poeople who can't resist to comment by saying it's not or just to be difficult.

what i originally meant was that you just have a thread where people can post about it. none of this malarky but if you can actrually make something where it automatically updates in the top right/left corner or something that would be better.

I don't use the Habbo section anymore but when I did I found it annyoing, it's a good idea. Or even just say those threads are not allowed as they aren't really news?
