They could easily sit at 5 CS+, as you said it's all about supply and demand for example there are only 820 Green Pillows at 6 CS each and there are hundreds of Dino Eggs at 2T + 10 CS each.

Nobody cares about rooms nowadays. Please just want rares that make them look rich like dinos , red bb's thrones etc and amber lamps will no longer do that job just like the dj deck (Did anyone else notice right after they came out they were never used in anybody's casino ever again:rolleyes:?).

Actually I have seen more DJ Decks in Casinos than ever before because before they were released very few Decks remained. People have expensiev things in their casinos because it attracts people, for example if I had a 'Purple Oriental Screen Casino' opposed to a 'Red Fan Casino' which will have more people. However I do miss the casinos which had a lot of new mega supers in like Purple Dragons and so on.

I mean, loads have things have been released for that lenght of time, if not shorter. The Serpant of Doom was released three times at 10 minuites each if I remember correctly. The Green Pillow only spent 10 minuites in the catalogue and that was at 3am!!!!

There should be a rule: Supers released between 3pm - 10pm should be removed after 10 minuites max.

Btw, anyone who argues with Elkaa is a fool. What he is saying makes sense anyway but judging by his Habbo wealth, Kevin is deffinitly someone to follow.

What's next do you think? I fear for the Dino - even though I have never had one before.

Because I've been playing since Feb 2003 so have seen all this before with the:

- Snowglobe
- Orange parasol
- Golden Pillow
- DJ Deck

I didn't get upto 500 thrones by being thick with the trading "economy" of Habbo. Sure, I've not played in the past 6 months - And that cost me over 200 thrones now. But, if I came back playing properly tonight, I could easily, after abit of work, make the 200 thrones back from my casino or from trading.

What you need to realise is that as has been mentioned above, the rich people no longer give two monkeys about released supers. It's the rich people who have the thrones in the game.

The only way to make guarenteed profit out of an item like this is to buy it, sell it for something like 10hc. If you think of it that way, at 2.5hc per 25 credits (when I was last on), and if you had 10 thrones worth, you just quadrupled your "hand" to 40 thrones.

Think of that on a bigger scale, say 100 thrones, and you just got 400 thrones.

However, simply saying that you're going to deffinatly make profit on them because they were only out for 20 minutes, once the 'hyp' dies down, doesn't make sence. People will no longer care about them, and they'll be just like the red, blue ambers and DJ Decks - Rarely seen, rarely spoken about, never wanted.

There's a difference between super and unreleased. If it has been given out for any reason to a regular Habbo (not staff), then it is a Super :).

Yeah I get your point Elkaa, but the DJ decks, snow globes orange parasol weren't realeased for just 20 minutes! Most of them were already out on the hotel and then released over a period of 2 - 7 days, some maybe more/less. The gold amber, imo is a very nice furni, the dj deck doesn't attract me as much as the gold amber and I think the gold amber will start to rise alot more than any other item, 20 minutes isn't that long compared to the rest which were released for days.. so I think this has a chance.

I agree with Ell, and he's right about the length of time. Also, no-one was actually alerted to the Gold Amber being in the catalogue, it was chance really. To be honest, I doubt more than 2500 were bought.

I highly doubt that many people had the chance to buy it, judging firstly by the alert on this forum 762 people viewed the thread, im guessing that maybe only half of them had creds and were willing to buy it.

The amount of users on the hotel wasnt likely to be very high, probably only a few thousand considering most were still at school, so judging again that not everyone had creds or didnt care about buying rares, id guess maybe 1200 people bought them. But most probably bought more than one so id say about 2000 were bought.

Y'know what? You're all taking this WAY too seriously. The Gold Amber Lamp won't rise to a throne ever really, not now. There's too much of a risk that it'll be released again, which is why the DJ Deck will never reach its throne status ever again, seeing as that is threatened almost every year. Basically, it doesn't matter how long it's been released, that has NOTHING to do with it's actual price.

Heres an example of what this would be like in the real world economy: "Microsoft Shares released at low price for 20 minutes!!!!", it wouldn't change the share prices at all... They'd probably stay the same price, however if many shares were bought in that time then yes their share prices would definitely be effected in a bad way. Bets are, many people bought a Gold Amber Lamp because word travels fast through console messages, plus the current amber lamps already on the hotel contribute, plus it makes red/blue/gold amber lamps all sort of equal.

In my opinion, the Gold Amber Lamp is as good as gone. If any (budding) RVRs wanna argue about it, and say that "It's highly popular"? Well many people will have bought it beforehand too being quite popular and it will be at a lower price. :rolleyes: To be honest, it'd be lucky to get over 5HC but then it was once a 'super rare' which makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

Also, there were only 6000 people online. Out of those 6000 people, I'd say about 850 would of bought some and some bought more than one. I reckon there are about 2500-4000 gold ambers on the hotel, MUCH less than DJ Decks and the other supers. It's a popular rare too, much more popular than the other short releases e.g,

Strobe Solarium

I don't think it will ever be worth Thrones, at least not in the forseeable future but I can see it getting into the low to mid-teens. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Sorry, I don't keep track of whats released and whats not. I'm betting there's the same amount of blue now as there is gold though. *wink* But in the end of it all, the rare system is a guessing game, and you can never win. Unless your name is Sulake. Also "not many people knew about it", didn't you read? I bet the amount of console messages sent spread out, the amount of people shouting in rooms and telling people to tell others spread... Black Monolith is still popular to this day, it's a very attractive rare and you just don't see many more of them anymore... But that's the thing isn't it, hardly anyone sells them so the price goes down. Logic ftw!

I've sold ten tonight, 6 at 8HC, and 4 for 260 credits.. dunno what that equals too but it works out the ones in my theme room are now free as I got my credits back and some extra :D

Strobe Solarium: 10HC - Released by Faithless when they visited Habbo Hotel, and only the people in their party room were told it would actually be released at that time, and it was peoples choice to tell others. That didn't go far really did it, but somehow a one hour release along utmost secrecy... 10HC? :rolleyes:

Green Pillow: 6HC - Released 3AM in the morning by Callie in 2005, and is probably never going to be released again due to it's extremely rare circumstances in being released, along with rareness to be bought as it is probably unpurchaseable now due to it's rareness... 6HC? And it was released for 10-20 minutes too... :rolleyes:

New years rocket: 1HC - Released on new years, and probably never again after that. Wasn't that popular despite only released once for maybe.. one day? If not, less than that. Bought a bit, but you do never see any of them around now, and are quite rare. 1HC price though...?

Gold Amber Lamp: 5-8HC (5HC) - Released for 20-30 minutes by Helkat/Lost_Witness in peak time, under some secrecy however word did spread quite fast. One of the more popular rares, and an ex-super rare.
