Yeah, my eyesight is really bad. I only wear glasses in the morning when I wake up and for about half hour each night. Rest of the time i wear my contacts.

Yeah, 24/7 cos like you, I'm short-sighted. (Which for anyone who doesn't know, means I cannot see stuff which is far away from me/my eyesight)

Nope I've had a pair of glasses for almost a year now but I haven't wore them since I go given them. I can see perfectly fine except when things are really far away/ not enough light. But squinting always helps so I don't think i'll be wearing them anyday soon ;D

squinting is perhaps the worst thing to do, since you're straining your eyes, leaving them to see things naturally is a sign of good eyesight, if you're squinting, wear your glasses.

so yh, i wear glasses/sometimes contacts.. they annoy my eyes sometimes though.

Not all the time; just for reading, watching TV and seeing the board in school. LOL.
I probably should wear them all the time because I have difficulty seeing peoples faces if Im talking to someone from a distance.

Well I can remember them doing it in primary school for a few years, but since then I haven't been and as far as I know it's not compulsory for you to have one. I guess it's important though if you are a driver or something like that, But most people generally have their eyes tested if they think there is something wrong. So far I think my vision is perfectly fine :).

squinting will make your eyesight worse. you should wear your glasses, that's what they're there for, to help you with your short-sightedness. wear your glasses when you're doing 'near eye' work, like reading, using the computer, watching tv etc.

anyway, i do wear glasses, and have been since 9 years old. most singaporeans, by the age of 12, are short-sighted. over here, almost every student wears glasses, so it's nothing rare or uncommon.

Yes I wear glasses, need to wear them all the time, but I can see things fine without glasses, only distance I can't see things that well.
