Yesterdai I was at a mates party and my ex from a year ago spent over 5 hours telling me how much he regreted breaking up with me and that he loved me still. He said his mum told him to dump me and he regrets listening to her.

He said he was going to call me today at 4 o'clock or would nock for me. He said last night that he couldn't talk to me before because he was scared i'd reject him. I told him last night that im in a relationship, but i would consider it. Now he didn't talk to me on msn wen he logged in and he didnt call me.

If he's a typical guy, and what I mean by typical is the ones that go around messing with girls saying "Oh I love you so much" then you get intermet and then they leave you then he would have just wanted to get some "action" that night.

If he isn't a typical guy then he probably did mean it, and the reason why he didnt speak to you was because he had no confidence, which if he couldn't tell you for 5 years that he regreted breaking up with you shows that he has low confidence.
