ok dunno what this is so any help would be appreciated.
right here is the problem
basicly when i go to bed i set my alarm on my phone and lye down , but in 5 minutes i grab my phone and check if my alarm is still on and keep doing that till i fall asleep because i am soooo tired. it keeps me up hours
and another problem is
when i put things in my bag i get scared thinking they are gonna fall out of it so
i keep feelling around in the pockets to check to see if things are there then i open the pockets to make sure and then it repeats over and over again.
also when im on the pc and sitting in the a room everything has to be perfect like the door handle has to be up in a straight line and the pillows have to be exact in a postition.

i dont know whats wrong and i want to find out as its taking over my life prat

may be ocd.

OCD stand for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, where you can't help doing something otherwise you really feel strange to the point of bursting.
I have an OCD with hoods being inside out, i go up to random people in the street and put theyre hoods the right way without thinking. It's annoying but i'm learning to restrain myself now by thinking of something else.

it sounds like OCD, though OCD is much more complicated and obsessive than that, but we aint doctors, so go get it checked out.

There are many minor physcological conditions which are often confused with OCD. OCD can be quite serious, but I doubt you have that. If you go to a GP and explain your problem, he can refer you to a specialist who will be able to diagnose it with no problem. :)

If it was as serious as OCD, it really wouldn't just be 'nothing'. You really have no idea lol.

i have that, lol.

i always like to arrange and straighten all the furniture in the house so it looks perfect. it ****** me off easily when someone moves the furniture slightly from the way i arranged it.

i also like all the doors in the house closed.

i get really paranoid too when i'm packing a list of things, like for example packing my school bag. i will always keep checking to make sure that everythings there, but even after checking several times, i still feel that something's missing.

lots of others too, lol.

Glue your phone to the floor, then you wont be able to pick it up and look at it.

I've had that compulsion, but then it moved onto my router after I left it on one night, but I still have times where I wake up in the middle of the night and check it. This is one of my least problematic OCD obsessions :S

I find putting the alarm in front of you makes it easier because you really just have to lift your head, it took me a while to get off the turning off/on routine, but after that, just looking at it took the feeling away

It could be ALIEN HAND SYNDROME!!! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_hand_syndrome) Or are you aware you are doing it?
