Apparently, Billionaire Richard C. Branson is front runner for taking over the Northern Rock after the whole money loss disaster!
He makes a success out of everything else so why not this?!
Good luck to him, Lol

Also Radio 1.

Hmmm, Virgin Megastores must of been rubbish or not worth anything and their broadband packages don't live up to their expectations.

He seems to know the right time to buy and sell so good luck to him :)
He sold Virgin Radio
I am pretty sure he sold Virgin Megastore (all of them lol) a couple of years back?
His mobile phone company never took off how he hoped though.

uhm.. a few months ago the scottish group want to change the name, and cut off all things to do with virgin but they didnt in the end because it would cause too much confusion.

I would of thought they kept it due to the good brand image that comes with the name aswell.
