I like the website, however the background is a little bit dreary, you should probably go for something more cheery because the Layout itself is bright, sunny and cheerful. I'm not sure about the idea of building it live but it's your website not mine. Very generous prize there for a site that hasn't got off the ground yet :) +Rep.
