Theres this girl in at my school band. I like her alot, and I think she sort of likes me. Theres a one year difference between us (I'm in 8th and shes in 7th) so we hardly ever see each other other than in band, and there is a time where we can go the band and practice where we have a lot of time to sit and talk, but only 30 minutes.
I asked her out Tuesday, and she said she had a boyfriend but still wanted to talk to me about it later. So, today I get up and go to school. I see her in the band hall and we start talking. She said she had a boyfriend and that we should just be friends for the moment.
But then, my friend who is really good friends with her, says that she wanted to get to know me more cause she still hasn't really chosen yet. Being the first time I've asked a girl out EVER, I'm kind of nervous. I have no idea what to do other than talk to her more and ask her out later or wait until she asks me out IF that ever happens.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ok my advice is to be nice to her spend as much time with her as you can. during those 30 mins. become one of her better friends but try flirting a bit. maybe play her a song if ur good in band. just take things one thing at a time. when she breaks up with her boyfriend. your shoulder will be the one she cry's on

You should just carry on doing what you already have, talking to her when you can, being friendly and nice so that she'll like you more. Maybe ask her for her mobile number or IM or whatever so you can talk to her over that, and then you'll be able to talk more and get to know each other more and then it'll increase your chances.
Get her drunk and sleep with her

Yh, or get shortkeys and use it lol.
Well, basically what others have said, talk to her whenever you can, flirt, ask for her msn/bebo/myspace or w.e.

Perhaps the reason she hasn't gone for you over her boyfriend if she wants to be with you more is that some year 7's are not known for their maturity. Just stay friends and wait until the time is right, it's year 8 you have 4 more years in highschool so don't get all over with at once.
She will be ready at the right time and you can do whatever then. :D
EDIT: I really need to change my Under name thing...

With things like this we can't help you, I might be shifting on a bit, but if it's true love, you have to be yourself if she likes that, good for you and her, if she doesn't move on.

Ok. We've been talking on AIM a lot and I know she likes me, but her parents won't let her date an 8th grader (cause apparently, we think differently frmo 7th graders) and she says shes waiting to see if her boyfriend gets any better (she said hes really nervous and wierd around her.)
So am I screwed or what?
Don't tell her parents your in the 8th grade / Who cares what the parents say, its nothing to do with them...

EDIT: I really need to change my Under name thing...In America they're called Grades and not years, and as you can see his location is Texas ;) - I think Grade 8 is equivalent to the UKs Year 11 or something.

So things have progressed over the weekend. She has broken up with her boyfriend and said I was "the sweetest guy she has ever met" and has a huge crush on me. The only thing between us now is her mom who won't let us date, and won't let me take her anywhere.
What can I do now?

Thats gd :)
Sneak her out the house?
Or get one of her friends to go to the door, and ask her to come out, and you wait across the road or something and don't let the parents see u.
Then when your both out of view of the house, u can meet up.
And there ya go :)

Weeell, you can`t really personally do anything about the her having a boyfriend situation, because if he finds out he`ll probably come after you. It`s good to build a stable friendship first so it lays the foundations for a good relationship afterwards. Her current boyfriend won`t last forever, and then you`re in. Good luck buddy. (:

Really? I thought year 7 was equivalent to year 7.
