Her welcome message...
Pablan, Habbos! My name is Smilla and this is Nanuq, my Husky Pet. I’m an Inuit (or Eskimo, if you like) wandering Shaman.
My job as a shaman is to help the members of the tribe stay healthy, defend them against negative forces and make them… well, do the right things. I employ snow and ice spirits as my advisors and spiritual guides. By gazing into my Ice Lamp’s glittering lights, I can fall into a trance and commune with the spirits, asking them for guidance and power.
It’s the power to create ice at will and bring everywhere the frozen breath of my land, a power which I’m sharing with all the people I visit. Let it snow!
Since my coming of age I have been prey to the wanderlust. For quite some time I’ve gone from tribe to tribe, from land to land, trying to help wherever I could… and dating some local young warrior whenever I could take a break from my hard shaman’s work. “Wandering” is my strength and my weakness in all I do, after all; but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right?
Lately, though, I’ve been facing hard times looking at the state of the world and its waning icecaps. Ice is life! Without the icecaps, our world would be flooded by the oceans and scorched by the sun’s heat. And you know what? I’ve also decided that my next “tribe” is gonna be Habbo, a place full of people who can make a difference.
Yeah, you got it right. That would be you.
While running for the position of Xmas Boss, my proposition is simple. I’m here to spread a simple message: be informed. Know what Global Warming means and what YOU can do to help decrease its effects.
I’m running for the position of Xmas Boss and asking Habbos to join the fight against the danger posed by Global Warming.
Habbo has already taken a stand on this crucial matter. I pledge you to check it out (http://www.habbo.co.uk/groups/habbos_against_climate_change) and join the Group. Strength in numbers, remember that! You should also visit the Official Christmas Group (http://www.habbo.co.uk/groups/christmas07).
And when the time to vote the new Xmas Boss arrives, do the right thing. With your help, I’ll be the Habbo Xmas Boss and bring about icy, snowy and beautiful Xmasses every Habbo year.
