Do the silence pads actualy work well?

Yep, they actually get rid of alot of the noise, but are still loud enough to let you hear what you're playing :)

we have two acoustics and one electric guitar

1 keyboard
1 large and long speaker
2 large but fat speakers

Yamaha c40, my first classical

and 2 others which I don't play

Also have a couple of really nice violins (one is vintage) but I can't remember the makers.
