Erm right I PMed ---MAD--- to see if Habboxforum could get RSS for each forum, so we could subscribe to each section if we wanted to, and using a RSS reader we'd be able to be alerted if there was a new thread or something.

This is implemented on most vBulletin forums, here's a example:
http://habbos.net/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=88

Here's the PM I sent him anyway:

Hey will HabboxForum ever be getting RSS for sections like you can eith vBulletin. I'm not on about the RSS Robots like on Habboxworld, but the one's on many vBulletin forums to 'Subscribe' to a forum or section using RSS readers? I'd really love this to be implemented it'd improve things a lot ;)

Thanks,
JordyIf you don't know what RSS is, it's quite a popular thing with news agencies and it's becoming very big. It'd be great if HabboxForum could keep up with these technologies. If your slow with technology, I wrote a guide about RSS here (http://www.yourhabbo.co.uk/index.php?page=rss_guide) for peeps to read.

Anyway, can this be made possible, I think it's a option in vBulletin, and would anyone use it? :) - I'd certainly use it lots :D

Thanks,
Jordy

You can subscribe to a forum in usercp > options, it shows the little section box in your usercp. If they don't add the RSS - I suppose thats always an option, if you don't mean that then I don't get you. D:

D:Yeah I currently use that, since I close the sections I don't look at like 'Games' and 'VIP Forums' and 'Help forums' but I've subscribed to the 1 or 2 forums in the sections I do like.

But RSS would be good since if I wasn't on HXF and a good thread was posted I could look at it imminently. If I'm on User CP then I'm already on HXF and will see it anyway :P

I don't think it's a plug-in so maybe not.

Its a nice idea and one that I was thinking of previously, but I don't think the management would implement it because it's a hack and we don't like them around here :P

Nah, not a hack. vB does it out of the box.

You get sent emails. If you do it via usercp and all that crap. :)

I used to use it for the 'More Moderators needed / Council idea thread' :)

I didn't mean not on the internet. I meant if I'm not on Habboxforum.

I subscribe with non-email reply. So they just show up in my usercp. It's fun. ^^.
