How do you back up an mysql database and why do you need to?

You can back it up via Admin CP. The backup is used incase somehting happens to your forums, it gets hacked or the server goes down. You can just add the mySQL backup to your database.

Just like a game, you want to save every so often so you dont have to restart, right? The database backup is exaclty the same.
