Subject : Habbo Hotel Misconduct


The Habbo Hotel Violent Behaviour Team has received a report from a member in which you have violated the Habbo Hotel rules. It has been reported that you have used violent language, which may be abusive to other members, or is against the rules. Habbo Hotel is a virtual hotel web-site designed for 14 to 20 year olds in the UK.
The Habbo Hotel Team will need your username and password to check the report out. These checks are needed to determine whether the report is false or something in which we must freeze your account for. If you decide not to give us your details your account will instantly be frozen.
Please remember that if you fill your details in correctly and return this mail, it is likely that it is just a false alarm, as we have many reports like this.

True , they never do. Because they ALREADY have your passwerds :P
Never fall into scam traps , however convincing they may be.
You dont even need to read it , if a PASSWORD and I and NEED comes up then ignore it =]

Actually, Habbo do NOT have your passwords on the server, that would be a violation of the Data Protection Act.

They can only reset them if you forget them, they cannot tell you what it is, as they do not know themselves.

True, which is why Hotel staff couldn't access Sonicmouses account to quickly, if your'e an Administrater on a forum, when you access the database you'll notice there is nowhere were you can see what a username's password is. Who did you get the e-mail from?

They don't need your passwords but they don't know them. Unless they have a tool that can transfer 400 numbers for 1 word then very unlikely, they would just change the password anyway.

Yes the e-mail is a scam, just delete it and ignore any future emails sent to you that ask for your Habbo pass, as Habbo staff would NEVER do that under any circumstances. :)
