Account deletion - Answer only If youv'e been with Habbo for ages like 3 years.

Ages and ages ago when I first visited Habbo, I made an account Called MitcheyBoy, A few month's later I returned and when I signed in, it said my password or username may have been typed incorrectly. My mate told me that after 20 day's on Habbo, if it is not used and you haven't bought anything on it, it get's automatically deleted. Now this also happend with my other mate, about 2 years ago, he made the account Roboevil, he only went on it once and 2 years later, I search for him on console and it says Habbo not found, therefore it would have been deleted. Now, have Habbo removed this? I'm guessing so, otherwise it wouldn't be so hard to get a good account name on it.

The account probably didnt have furniture in it and wasnt used for a very long time. Habbo did a clear out of names a while back.
Office staff deleted all the names that didnt have furniture in and people hadnt being on there accounts for a year or so..

My first account got deleted as well.
I had another habbo called "Gahh". There's 2 painted rooms on that account, and I left it untouched for around like 5-6months and then It got deleted in that name clearance thingy.

There are many leet names at Habbohotel.nl being used by newbies that signed in once. ;)

Haha, there's a name clearance for all those accounts that have not been activiated for months and months or even years.
But if there are furniture in the account or any amount of credits present, the account will not be deleted.
So there..

On the 19-07-2004 Habbo did a huge clear-out, they deleted all accounts that:
Hadn't signed in for three months or more
Didn't have any furniture on

So if your account(s) matched that then it will have been deleted.. :)

Nearly all my former accounts got deleted but I wasn't bothered because I was either hacked on them OR I forgot their passes :p

I was using APK2K3 (since I switched from APKY2K in 2002). I got hacked, and was using some random account as they had changed everything, my pass etc. I had cleared the logger from my computer and when they cleared the system I managed to get the name "ApK". I'm glad. ;]

Just get like 1-2 credits on your account, and keep a little furniture on it, and it won't get deleted. ;)

my first ever account was loopy_lu as you can see i hav an underscore.. and iv kept her for a long time.. i can even remember what i first dressed her like! pink cardigan, white sandals scary eyes with a little chin. and i think i had a blue skirt on.. lol!

i dont know how but.. all my msn email addy's that i have put on loopy_lu hav been scammed or hacked into.

They use to let you use '><' In your name. But they must have removed that. One name iv'e always wanted is either 'Mit,' ¬.¬ Which is like what everyone calls me as a nickname and it's like omg suddenly it's taken, by an active member! My gowd. If not I would have wanted Savvy which was also taken...

I can't believe that after 4 Years of Habbo nobody came up with the name "Additives".

Really, I think it's a rubbish name. But then I can't stand names that are word's. Doesn't really make sense, I was surprised that no one was called Smawg. But then I found out it was spelt Smaug and that was taken o.o (This was like a year after I made the account lol, I don't know how I made that mistake as I distinctly remember looking at the back of The Hobbit to check!)

habbo did clear out some unused names without any furni on quite some time ago... I suppose it free's up some names and also helps to get rid of lag

Habbo had a clean out every account which was not be used and didnt have furni on got deleted thats how i got Peewee and Lea i joined habbo about 3-4 years ago and i joined with -=-Peewee-=- but then i hated the '-=-' in my name so i moved to Mizzpeewee and then i saw the notice on the main page and so i got Peewee and Lea :D Your account probs will have been deleted because you have not been on it for months?

that is odd, my original account jedi-monkey was made back in like march of 02 and i played for.... maybe at the most 2 hours once with no furni on it i came back in dec of 04 and it was fine.. must of done a random clearout i guess?
