It's stupid, why should we pay for a license so that BBC doesn't have adverts when every other channel does? They should just get rid of the license and have adverts on BBC because I'd rather watch them then have to pay not too.

I'd prefer to pay money than have adverts on BBC. BBC tries hard to stay independent, but it's hard to do that if you want to save money. Also, quality would be compromised.
