Last year alone Blizzard made over 600 million dollars off World Of Warcraft, that counts for new players buying the original game, all 10 million current subscribers buying the burning crusade and every players monthly payment.

I highly doubt that a company worth 1.5 BILLION dollars is anywhere near being low on cash :)

Nope, it depends what you do on WoW.
Some people level to 70, make an alt, level that to 70 etc.
Some people play it for fun, talk to friends.

And whos to say levelling isnt fun?

A lot of the people I meet on WOW are all about lvling up.

I didn't say lvling isnt fun, just some 'friends' take lvling as a compition, if your not keeping up with them then your a 'noob'.

You cant compare WoW to runescape. Runescape looks like a crap game off addictinggames.com while warcraft is a multi billion dollar company. WoW compared to habbo is the exact same.

The ads have been on Youtube a while, saw the Shatner one twice and the Mr T one once 2 days ago on Channel 4. If you watch C4, E4, More4 etc you'll probably see them. They're also on the sky channels.

I prefer the Shatner one to the Mr T one, T's is funny but you get about a second of him riding a Frostsaber and that's it.

Yeah i have to agree lvling does get boring, i have been playing wow now for like a year and i still dont have a 70, cause i cba to lvl my char, it has gotten boring since im playing on my own,


then my mate asked me to come on his server and be horde, so i did and lvled a char to 45 in a week, then got bored cause i was playing on my own once again.

So i reckon if your gonna play WoW find a friend that is liek you at playing it, then itll become fun
